Questions & Answers

Q: Is RightRemains™ only for cremation?

A: No. RightRemains™ is equally important for funerals and burials.  A direct burial with no positive ID or even a full funeral leaves room for burial identification questions and concerns.

Q: How does RightRemains™ assure the family they are getting the right remains?

A: Due to the precision and automation of the RightRemains™ system, from the moment the deceased is brought into the facility, it will show exactly where the deceased has been every step of the way. You will even have the option of providing a printed report to the family showing where the body has been at all times. An included camera allows you to add an extra level of photo identification.

Q: Is the RightRemains™ system affordable?

A: Considering the expense of lawsuits and loss of reputation, can you afford not to consider RightRemains™? Ask us about the cost.

A: Is the RightRemains system complicated?

Q: No. We have made the RightRemains system simple. When the system is delivered to your doorstep, it is “out-of-the-box” ready with an easy to understand manual (and of course we are available 24-hours a day with tech support).

Q: I have a small funeral home with very few calls.  Why would I need a RightRemains system?

A: Regardless of size, we all use identification methods for our crematories and funeral homes.  Even if you only do one cremation call a year, you still have to prove that you cremated the right person.  Also, if you are looking to obtain a competitive advantage, RightRemains can help you.

Q: How is RightRemains™ different than using a cremation disk?

A: Although cremation disks have been a long-standing and proven identification method, they leave too much room for human error.  With the RightRemains™ system, there is no need to record and remember to record disk numbers.  RightRemains is fully automatic and involves almost zero human input.

Q: Like a disk, can a RightRemains tag be cremated with the body?

A: Yes.  We have developed a solution that will allow you to do so.  Our standard system is set up for 1 tag that remains with the body, but does not go in the retort chamber.  For those of you that require a tag to go in the retort, we have developed a 2 identical-tag system.

With 2 identical tags, all the information is the exact same for both the tags.  You may place 1 tag on the wrist or ankle of the deceased with a band.  The other tag is placed in an adhesive pouch on the outside of the cremation container, casket, body bag or any other enclosure.  Before cremation, you place the pouched tag on the retort.  The tag on the ankle or wrist goes in the retort with the body and is destroyed, but a record still remains.

This method ensures a continuous record due to the fact that although one tag was destroyed, the other identical tag continues to read and report the location of the deceased.
